Honest Headshots

by D. Lillian Photography

There is nothing like scrolling through your camera roll to remind you that you have approximately 343086 pictures of your children, and maybe less than a handful of haphazard selfies you took on the days you had .5 seconds to do your hair. D. Lillian Photography will be offering complimentary, mini-headshot sessions for those of you who would love an updated (and much needed) portrait, that can be used for your own marketing purposes or to simply remind you that, DANG, you've still got it.

FREE FLOW yoga

with Sarah McLaughlin

Sarah is a licensed psychotherapist and yoga teacher in San Francisco. She works with women who experience anxiety and feelings of not good enough-ness. Basically, her work = being in the company of courageous, amazing women - what could be better than that?

Yoga sessions will be fun, flow classes that are very approachable for beginners and all levels. Sarah loves encouraging students toward self-compassion and non-judgment. She believes that the mat is the perfect place to practice these ways of being.

In addition to morning yoga, Sarah is also offering complimentary one-on-one wellness chats for those interested in having a safe space and kindred spirit to talk to. Sign-up's will be available upon your arrival to the retreat.

Guided Meditative Redwoods Hike

with Brittany Nelson

"In order to plug into our innate creativity, you have to still the mind. Brilliant ideas don't come from trying to think them up -- they come to us almost out of thin air. Meditation is a crucial tool to unlock that potential."

Brittany Nelson is a Reiki III attuned practitioner, 200 RYT yoga teacher, writer, musician, and MTHR's official Meditation Hike leader for Saturday morning. She will help lead a portion of our hike at Armstrong Redwoods and help our bodies attune to the world around us, from letting go of whatever doesn't serve us to creating space for the new. Her approach will be simple, yet impactful, and perfect for any of those who have never practiced meditation before.

diy shibori bar

with Indigo Designerie

Stop by the DIY Shibori Bar led by Christy Coleman of Indigo Designerie and try your (blue) hand at this traditional Japanese dip-dyeing method. Christy will expertly help you to create this gorgeous pattern on two MTHR-provided napkins as well as one personal item of your choice.

makers pop-up

Showcase your handmade goods

During the retreat there will be an opportunity to market your art/craft to our audience of women and set up a makers pop-up shop inside AutoCamp. Please note, MTHR will not be providing additional storage for your items/display so keep that in mind when deciding what you'd like to travel with. If you'd like to participate in the makers pop-up event portion of the retreat, please be sure to indicate that on your registration form.
