Inspiring Insights from the Creative Mom

Hear from some of the creative industry's most powerful women who offer insights on their personal journey to where balancing a career, relationships and motherhood all intersect.

Anjelika Temple

Anjelika Temple is the Chief Creative Officer + Founding Partner at Brit + Co where she is responsible for the editorial voice and visual identity of the brand across the company. As Brit + Co's first hire, Anjelika created the company’s distinct aesthetic and currently oversees the creative, editorial, and video teams to scale her vision. Prior to Brit + Co, Anjelika worked in the creative department of Lowe/Deutsch and the art-meets-tech startup 20x200. She also spent one year as an artist-in-residence at the Vermont Studio Center and a year traveling abroad to work on a series of commissioned works. Anjelika received her BA in Studio Art and Philosophy from Middlebury College. When she's not ideating her heart out, you'll find her throwing dinner parties with friends or adventuring in Northern CA with her husband David, her daughter Anokhi, and their slightly internet-famous dog Turkey.

Ashlee Gadd

Ashlee Gadd is a wife, mother, and the founder of Coffee + Crumbs—a collaborative blog (and podcast!) about motherhood. While running Coffee + Crumbs is her dream job (#understatement), most days Ashlee can be found at home dancing in the kitchen with her two boys, wiping boogers off their faces and picking Cheerios out of the carpet. Glamorous is her middle name. Ashlee is crazy passionate about cheering women on in their creative gifts, which is what drew her to MTHR Collective in the first place.

Jordan Reid

Jordan grew up in New York City, studied cognitive neuroscience at Harvard University, and worked as an actress (It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia; ER) for over a decade before -- in a moment of total career meltdown -- quitting acting, moving to New York City, and creating the popular website Ramshackle Glam. Jordan is one of the OG bloggers -- she started Ramshackle Glam in the dark ages (2009) and was one of the very first in the industry to successfully monetize her site through engaging, authentic integrations and brand collaborations.
Jordan is the author of two parenting and style memoirs, Ramshackle Glam (2014) and Carrying On (2015), and her most recent book, The Big Fat Activity Book for Pregnant People, has topped Amazon's Best Seller list since its release last Spring.

Check out all the fun stuff we've got planned for you!

Motherhood is the biggest gamble in the world. It is the glorious life force. It’s huge and scary—it is an act of infinite optimism.
